Prerequisites ​

Before integrating with HashNut V4, complete the following setup.

1. Register a Merchant Account ​

Sign up at the HashNut Dashboard (or Testnet for testing). Authenticate with your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, etc.).

2. Deploy a V4 Split Wallet Contract ​

In the dashboard, navigate to EOA Accounts and deploy a V4 split wallet contract:

  • Select the target blockchain (e.g., Polygon, BSC)
  • Configure payees and share ratios
  • Set the withdraw address

After deployment, run the MPC Client to generate and activate receipt addresses.

3. Create an API Key ​

Navigate to Developer in the dashboard and create an API Key:

After creation you will receive:

  • accessKeyId — Identifies your merchant account
  • secretKey — For HMAC-SHA256 request signing

DANGER

Never expose your secretKey in frontend code or public repositories.

4. Note Your Split Wallet Address ​

Each order requires a splitterAddress — your V4 split wallet contract address from EOA Accounts.
